8-2-20 Be Scared and Do it Anyway – Matthew 14:13-21
When Jesus performed one of his most famous miracles, feeding over 5000 people, few knew that he had just learned that his cousin, friend, and mentor, had just been killed for speaking against the king. Jesus wanted to have some time by himself to pray about this tragic event which undoubtedly shook him. Nevertheless, he overcame his fear because of his endless compassion for people.
