May 2, 2021 – “A Time for Pruning” – John 15:1-8 — Jesus tells us the he is the true vine and we are the branches, apart from him, we can do nothing. We know that for plants to grow and be healthy, it is important to prune them from time to time, taking away what is unnecessary in order to focus on those things that give growth and life. We in our own lives need to periodically examine ourselves and prune away whatever is holding us back.
