February 27, 2022 – “Back to Work” – Luke 9:28-43 – It was easy for the disciples of Jesus to be impressed, even terrified by the spectacle of watching Jesus reveal his glory to them. They in fact nearly forget that their purpose was not to sit on a mountaintop, but to be with the people. Jesus allowed himself to be humiliated, suffer, and die just to be with us. Being a Christian is fundamentally a call to love and serve each other.
